I've had my fair share of Realtors and Joan definitely made it to the top of the list. I appreciate the communication and not having to wait long periods of time to hear back. Joan made sure I understood the forms, never made be feel like I was a bother and got us into our home quickly.

Last year, I lost a dear friend, and I was the successor trustee of his estate. I live in the Los Angeles Area. My friend owned a piece of property with a mobile home on it that I had not been able to see for the past 30 years. I needed a trustworthy realtor to handle that sale for me, and looked on Realtor.com to locate one.
From the first moment I spoke with Joan, I could tell that she was an honest, hard working individual that would take good care of me when handling the sale of this property. Joan immediately took care of necessities, including meeting contractors and coordinating the property preparation for sale on my behalf. Joan was in touch with me regularly for every decision that was needed, and made good, common sense recommendations. The entire transaction was so professionally handled that I did not feel the need to ever make the drive to inspect the property. Joan sent me photos of everything to keep me updated.
The property was listed, and Joan attended each and every showing personally. The home went into escrow quickly, with multiple offers. Joan anticipated all of the needed documents for a sale that was partially out of a trust, and partially handled through my friends probate. The escrow was quick, and without any problems!
I can't begin to say how happy I was with the honesty, service and professionalism of Joan Gillham. She is the one to choose when selling your home or buying a new home!

Working with Joan was amazing. Above and beyond does not begin to describe it. She puts so much heart and care into her work that I felt that I not only gained an agent but a trusted friend. I was buying a house across the country, and if I hadnt had an agent like Joan, I would have been lost. I rarely had to ask her to do anything. Instead, she identified my needs and volunteered to help me out, sometimes when I didnt know that I needed it. She guided me through the purchase process and provided me with high-quality and reliable advice. The house I purchased did not yield her much commission, but she never treated me like my business wasnt valuable. I cannot praise her highly enough and recommend her not only without reservation but also with great enthusiasm. If I purchase another home in the area that she can serve, I will have her be my buyers agent, no question.
