Robert Bertolino, a buyer from Williamstown, MA
Once I explained to Mark what I was looking for and the area I wanted to be in, he updated me on new listings on a daily basis. Mark was always available for questions and appointments. Mark helped make buying my new home a positive experience. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of purchasing a home. I recommend Mark Harris to anyone who wants a professional, compassionate, hard working realtor to find the right home for you.

Ethan, a seller from Pittsfield, MA
In my experience Mark doesnt know much about the market. We went to him due to his relationship with a mutual friend of ours that passed. Feeling overwhelmed and stressed regarding whether to stay or put our house on the market. In our initial call he was asking questions regarding the house with my fianc on speaker phone. I was assisting with the answers as she was unfamiliar. He told her to tell me to pipe down and that he knows I want to speak, but he is talking to her. I was taken aback by the comment, but we had him on the line and figured would still give him a shot as its about what he can do for us rather than bedside manner, so he came out and took a look at our house and walked through for his market analysis. He said either he or His wife Lynn would get back to us in a few days with what he had come up with. He then didnt do the market analysis until over a week later after he got back from a trip, we didnt have a follow call in between other than to say he was going out of town and it would have to wait till he got back. We waited and were about to go to someone else when he sent us the market analysis on the house...this is by far the most important factor where Mark has failed. While noting the location, size, and condition of our property, and that houses in our area are priced at nearly 220k that are not as nice, he came back with 175k-176k in his analysis and we never heard from him again he didnt follow up, he didnt ask what we thought, just gone. We were devastated by what we were looking at and abandoned the prospect of buying a home and selling ours and were pursuing adding a bathroom and other modifications that we wanted in the new home. My fianc went to an open house of one that was comparable to ours but more expensive to see what are we missing here. She talked to an agent there and they were surprised by what they were hearing but still was thinking, maybe there are factors that swayed the analysis she wasnt aware of. She came to see the house and she was blown away by the amenities, the yard, style and condition of the house. She did her analysis and thought we should list for 209900 and at that price we are guaranteed to have it sold by the weekend. We took her advice. By Monday we had it on the market, Wednesday we had an open house with a ton of interest and an offer of nearly 7k above asking price. That would have been a 41k dollar mistake to go through Mark. So my market analysis of Mark is he lacks professionalism, a basic understanding of the market, and is unresponsive. My rating for him is well deserved.
