This was our 2nd home in the Clarksville area that we purchased. The first was back in 2009. We used Mr. John Griffis for both homes. We recently PCSd from Germany on this 2nd home purchase and John was incredible on accommodating to getting us a home. I dont know how he does it because I know he has a lot of other clients he is tending to, but I felt like he was always focused on helping us every time we engaged. Communication was immaculate. I am happy that I met John when I purchased our first home in 2009. It paid dividends of a stress-free process when I reached out and used him again over 10 years later (on the other side of the world). Horribly disappointed, a seller from Clarksville, TN
I'd been talking with Laura for a few days, working out the details of purchasing a new construction home that she had listed (including correspondence between her & the builder then back to me to iron out details). I confirmed the offer I wanted to make via text, which is how we had most recently been communicating. She responded TWO DAYS later, apologizing for missing my texts & asking if I still wanted to make the offer. Of course, I did! Then, she waited till 6pm to have me sign the offer so she could submit to the builder. The following morning, she texts that she submitted a different offer to the builder that morning. By 1pm, she calls to apologize that the builder accepted the other offer. She later attempted to apologize again via text stating that she was sorry & she had to "legally" submit all offers to the builder "as soon as (she) received them". Yet, she sat on my offer for 2 days before she even drew up the contract.
This will be my 4th home. Never have I encountered a realtor that waited DAYS to submit an offer after being informed by the client that the client was ready to make the offer. At most, my previous realtors waited 2 hours. This is a horrible business practice. I will now avoid her or any builder/seller she represents. 2020
Laura is a wonderful realtor to work with. She listens to our needs and desires for selling the house. She is professional, friendly, ethical, up-front, and honest. Even though the house is not yet sold (even though we had an offer within 4 days of listing), I feel confident that we will finish our transaction within the requested time frame.
