Stacey Spencer, a seller from Bonham, TX Jim was to work with our realtor Kayla Gorden who both work for Weichert Realtor. We went under contract on Nov. 4, 2022 and we were excited. On Dec 1, 2022 we reached out to Jim and Kayla to ensure everything was going good, just to find out the buyer supposedly backed out 5 days after the contract was sign.
No one ever in formed us.
Are we owed the earnest money and option fee? Did the realtor keep it?
Our property was off the market for 26 day due to their negligence.
They breached our contract.
Breach of fiduciary.
