We are about as picky of real estate clients as one can imagine. Our house hit the market right before Christmas & it still sold for full asking price (with more than one offer) within 3 weeks. n nWe were buying contingent on the sale of our property, so there were lots of balls in the air & she was exceptionally diligent in making sure that everyone was on the same page & doing their job on time - i.e., lenders, escrow agents, inspectors, realtors on all ends. We were in a 30 day escrow for sale and purchase, so things were all on quick turnaround times. With today's lenders cracking down, it was not an easy feat. n nMaggie also helped us buy our dream house for less than asking price (& we would have paid quite a bit more than asking price). My ears perk up whenever I hear people talk about buying or selling real estate. Why? Because I have the perfect realtor and I always want friends to know about Maggie Ding. n nI bought my first condo without Maggie. My first realtor was fine, but as a first-time buyer, there were a lot of things I didn't know or understand. Looking back, there were certainly items that my first realtor could have pushed for me, but she didn't. Maggie and Gina are the absolute best! When I started looking to buy my first home, I didn't know anything about the process, I barely even knew what I wanted. I tried meeting with a few random realtors that websites like Zillow suggest, but they were...not great. Our family has lived on the Palos Verdes Peninsula for numerous years and we have had several experiences with different South Bay realtors. I consulted with Maggie regarding the selling of my mother's home. We found Maggie on Yelp several years ago, and to echo the dozens of positive reviews on there, Maggie is simply the best. Since we bought our house in 2013, we've referred several friends and family to her and all have been so happy with her as well. n nWhen we were looking for a realtor who covered a range of locations (South Bay to West LA/SM), we met with a handful of people who we found either through Yelp or referrals from friends. Maggie was far and away the most responsive, and we clicked with her immediately because she is so bubbly and energetic. Ironically, another agent (based in West LA) that we met with even said that if we were looking for an expert for the South Bay, that she had a colleague who she'd refer us to... and it was Maggie. n nOur first-time home buying process with Maggie went really smoothly, and we were so lucky to have Maggie advocating for us the whole way. She really went above and beyond, and even wrote a time-sensitive offer letter for us on a Sunday night while she was out of the country on vacation! After only a few weeks of looking, through a stroke of luck as well as Maggie's persistence and quick negotiating, we landed a house we had loved from the beginning of our house hunt (that had been taken off the market for weeks before we even found Maggie as our realtor). Maggie came highly referred to us from 2 separate friends. She was billed as an extremely hard worker , and now having gone through our first home buying experience with her, I can only add that this is a HUGE understatement! Maggie's professionalism, organization, responsiveness, real estate IQ, I repeat responsiveness and top-notched team of professionals (including both her assistant Stefanie as well as her network of professionals--loan providers, inspectors, plumbers, roofers, handymen, etc.) sets her apart from other agents. Ours was not a straight-forward purchase, having to deal with potential mold issues, and could have easily fallen through or turned contentious with the Sellers. Maggie is a fantastic real estate agent and new friend. n nMy family and I were relocating from San Francisco and had to find a house. It should be noted that I just started a new job and had a new baby at the same time so life was crazy. After just ONE weekend of intense house shopping we bought and just closed a great house in Redondo Beach. But this was just half the story. n nWe spent a lot of time with Maggie reviewing and researching homes. We had to think about the commute and look into schools because my oldest was starting kindergarten. We spent many late nights conferencing myself in LA, my wife in SF and Maggie to narrow the scope of our search so we would be prepared. She did a ton of the schooling research in the LA area for us. n nSince I was already in LA, I scouted out the homes with Maggie before the wife came down. Maggie was professional and prepared. She handed me a full book of all the homes with an overlay of the school district for each house. The houses were fully mapped in the GPS and in order so we didn't waste any time at all. n nWhen my wife came into town, I already wiped out 2/3 of the list and efficiently went through all the homes. On the last day, she drove us around the neighborhood and showed us all the great places in the area. n nBing, bang, bada-boom. We made an offer that week. Maggie was able to negotiate a great price, in fact the appraisal was higher than the price....but it doesn't end there. n nMaggie walked us through the WHOLE process from beginning to end and set everything up including scheduling inspectors, and staying on top of the lender for me. Recently worked with Maggie to sell our condo in El Segundo. I recommend her highly!
