I'm always leery when I see people who leave all 5-star reviews because, c'mon, who is completely happy with everything, really.
But I can't think of any area that wasn't beyond exceptional while working with Kelly. So I genuinely give her all 5 stars. Wish I could give 10.
I lost my grandma in 2017 and had the responsibility of selling her home in Merced. I was utterly overwhelmed by the amount of work needed to be done to get it ready to sell. But I went ahead and looked for a realtor anyway. I thought I was going to have to get it to a perfect condition before making that call.
So I interviewed eight realtors to find the person who could help guide me and give me the best advice. After interviewing the realtors, I felt even more overwhelmed. Hearing about getting a hauling company, hiring an estate sale company, fixing damage on the roof, painting and replacing doors and windows.
The realtors left me with more questions than answers and more work to tackle than I was even thinking about before.
So I started doing some more research and found Kelly. She came over and walked around the property and told me that this didn't need stressful tasks. She portrayed confidence and empathy.
Kelly was the first one of 9 realtors that brought enthusiasm and a sense of optimism. She didn't know my grandma but respected her by understanding that the most important thing was to give her home the love and care that my grandma would have wanted.
Kelly sat down with me and explained her process. She talked about companies that she works well with that could clean the property, make the estate sale, fix the damage, and get it ready to present to the new homeowners.
What I thought was going to be a painful process actually was an enjoyable one. I knew right away that Kelly was the perfect person for the job.
And everything after that first meeting went extraordinarily well. The smoothest process I have ever had, even though I thought it was going to be the hardest one.
One thing that felt right was that Kelly was bringing good energy to my grandma's beloved home. And with that energy, she found a homeowner that my grandma would have been thrilled to take her home over.
Every call I had with Kelly was pleasant, every meeting we had was smooth and easy, and the whole process went seamless. I can't believe how easy it was.
Then fast forward three years, my mom passed away, and I had the task of selling her property in Mariposa.
This was surely going to be an even more challenging project because this home had a lot of work to be done.
There were tenants on the property that didn't want to leave, and with Covid, everything had to be handled in a much more delicate nature.
I thought this property was going to be a nightmare. But Kelly again was up for the task. She assured me that she could handle whatever problems she might face.
I didn't doubt her ability, but I did doubt that it could be done.
I imagined this property would sit there for a couple of years as we took weekend trips to clean it up. Having to wait until Covid ended to deal with the tenants who wouldn't leave and, in the end, not knowing if there would be any profit gained from the sale.
But after a couple of weeks of Kelly working her magic behind the scenes, she called me to tell me that all I needed to do was sign some papers because she found a buyer and helped him get everything together to buy the property.
I was shocked. I didn't think it could be done.
After that, it was within 30 days that it all was finalized.
Kelly is not only professional, but she also has a huge heart. She is meticulous at making sure that everything is thought through and that the buyer and seller are more than happy.
I miss my grandma and mom, dearly. I wish I could have one more conversation with them. If I did, I would say that there is a person named Kelly that took exceptional care of the homes they cherished and that the new people who are living in those homes are the exact people they would be proud to pass on to.

Buying and selling a house feels like a daunting task, but I now know it doesn't have to be. It can be a fantastic experience and one you can enjoy. I know because I had the pleasure of working with Kelly, and I'll never forget all she did for my family and me.
