Aaron Johnson was my realtor and he did a fantastic job! I was selling a unique property in Old Colorado City. It was a house built in 1907 with a cottage in the backyard. I lived in the main house and I was renting my cottage as an Airbnb. I literally had guests that had reservations until the day I sold my house. It was important to me to sell my house without disrupting my guests. He was able to accomplish this without any problem. During the selling process I needed pictures done, exterior painting done, and an instructional engineer to come out for an inspection, and while under contract a hail storm came through and I had to have both roofs fully replaced. Aaron Johnson coordinated all of that without disrupting my guests' stays. All those tasks above were worked around vacancies in the cottage. I only had a 24 hour window to do a showing, and in the first hour I had 13 people show up with their realtors and I had 5 offers that night! Two were $25,000 above asking price!

Offer here and an offer there is not what I was wanting to sell at. Ms. Naughton not only suggested to wait for other bidders, but also to spice the viewings up more. She knew what I had to make off of the sale and made it happen. Very quick to respond to questions and answers; longest wait for a response was approximately 24 minutes. Christina was great to work with. We started our house hunt in June looking for something unique. I can say that we were picky about what we were looking for and looked at more houses than I could count. Christina did not hesitate once to make time to facilitate all the viewings we asked for. In all I would say she showed us approximately 50 homes over the course of four months. Christina answered every question we had, was responsive to every request and made every effort to provide us with the best possible service one could ask for.
When we finally decided on a house Christina handled every aspect and lobbied for us at every turn. The most impressive thing about Christina is that she was personable and friendly throughout the entire process.
Even after the close of our house she sold for us and the purchase of our new home she continued to be helpful. Case in point, on the day we moved, our daughter was having surgery. While I was working with the movers my spouse was at the hospital with our daughter. Unfortunately through all the hectic things going on at that time, I had forgotten to get cash for the movers and could not leave to get it. Christina, without hesitation, drove over and lent me the funds I needed so that I could pay the movers without leaving anything unattended. After all this was done I was able to get her back the funds which she never once questioned. Christina is an awesome human being and a great realtor.

My wife and I moved to Colorado, and were looking for a house with specific location requirements. We chose the Johnson Team based on reviews, and we are so glad that we did.
Bethany Loyd was our realtor, and she was amazing throughout the process: knowledgeable, friendly, VERY responsive, honest, and extremely helpful. Being a Colorado Springs resident for many years, it was nice to have her insight as we looked at houses and neighborhoods. We were pre-approved for a loan on a Friday, Bethany accommodated us on extremely short the next day (Saturday), and we were under contract to purchase by Monday.
Once under contract, Bethany and the team clearly outlined the important dates before closing, and provided us with multiple choices for inspections/etc. Bethany went above and beyond to make the process smooth, working with another associate Stephanie to send us friendly reminders of upcoming deadlines, managing inspections, and communicating with our lender as well as the seller.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Johnson team and specifically Bethany Loyd! This was my first time buying a home, and Bethany made it incredibly painless and smooth. She met with me first to go over the process, forms to anticipate, and of course what I was looking for. Since it was my first time buying, I had a ton of questions which she thoroughly explained to me over that first meeting. And she was always patient and took the extra time to answer my questions and ensure my needs were met. I work night shift, and she was cognizant of my schedule. Around 6am every morning I could expect an email of any new listings fitting my criteria. She would then text/call me about the most promising ones to set up prompt walk-throughs. The first time we looked at properties, we saw probably 5-6 that day so she could get a better feel for what I was looking for as well as help me understand what I wanted and the different price ranges. She never pushed for me to exceed my limit but rather ensured I was finding a place well within my means and comfort without having to sacrifice what I wanted in the property itself (which was hard to do in this market). Once I got a good feel for what I wanted and where, we usually saw 1-3 places in a day. Bethany liked to keep the numbers of places we saw in a day low after I figured out what I wanted so I wouldn't confuse the options. With each walk through she came prepared with info on the house, age of the major appliances, and anticipated my questions. She also gave me good advice on what to be aware of as far as future costs and comparing the cost of the house with the cost of any repairs/renovations I'd want to do upfront to make sure everything was in my budget. When it came time to make an offer, Bethany discussed the contract itself with me so I knew line by line what I was signing my name to. She also discussed how to make my offer competitive without overpaying. She always conducted herself with the utmost integrity, which I greatly appreciated. She told me she would do her best to protect my interests but also didn't want me putting in an offer if I wasn't totally serious to prevent wasting the seller's time as well. Once I found the home I wanted, Bethany even helped me find the necessary people for inspections (in my case VA and general home inspection) and comparing banks for a loan. She negotiated with the seller to make the fixes I needed (all were granted).
I will say, the Johnson team does charge an extra $300 fee, but it is MORE than worth it in my opinion! I looked at a few properties with a few other realtors, and none of them came close to Bethany's skill-level and professionalism. I often found others were not as well prepared or as thorough in person. Bethany never hovered or tried to sway my opinion. But she always pointed out the pros and cons of each property. Whereas other realtors left me to wander the property on my own and couldn't answer my questions about it when I asked as we walked through. I liked that she pointed things out as we walked through (e.g. defects in the floorboards, quality of the appliances, things the VA inspector may want fixed, etc.). Again, she never hovered or influenced my opinion, just gave me the facts. She even took my interests into consideration (e.g. proximity to parks, paths for biking in the neighborhood, etc.). It was night and day difference between her attention to detail and thoroughness compared with other realtors I worked with.
The Johnson team as a whole is truly a team and wonderful to work with. Bethany went on vacation one weekend and made sure she set me up with a fellow realtor with the same care and attentiveness in case a home popped up that I wanted to see. If you're looking for a realtor, you can't go wrong with this team! At the least, it's worth sitting down and talking to one of their members. Bethany told me on day one she doesn't take it personal if I decided to go with someone else because she wants me to feel comfortable along the process and mesh well with my realtor. Well no problem there-- she was fabulous! It was clear to see that first meeting that she had my best interests at heart and would be straightforward and detailed. I had a truly wonderful time working with Bethany! I was almost sad to buy a place because that would mean we wouldn't be working together anymore! We ware up front with the team/her about not having to move immediately. At first we had Bruce show us a few places (10 or so), we couldn't find a place that made us commit. Then Christina Foster came into the storm, and she was a trooper......we looked at ALOT (25+) of places and finally we found one, and we made an offer. The rest of the home buying process was smooth.
