I was only looking for the specific property that we purchased--I had not obtained a realtor at the time. After talking with multiple other people in the RGV about the property (i.e. appraiser, mortgage people x 2, inspectors, etc....) I heard from ALL of them about Bertha and her professionalism, and how her reputation was excellent. Typically I would not work with a realtor who was representing both the seller and buyer, but after hearing about Bertha and speaking with her, I felt confident that she would be extremely fair to both parties. She was very, considerate of the elderly seller and communicating her needs to me and I respected that so much. She was an excellent "middle man" on the negotiations--we wanted to be fair and compassionate to the owner while also making sure our needs and requirements were met. Bertha was available at every moment I needed to ask her a question--either by answering right away or by responding to set up a good time for us both. She worked well into the evenings on multiple occasions. Bertha was honest, direct, a good negotiator for our needs (I was working much of the time from another state and my daughter was local) and she has great connections with all types of contractors for any updates. Again, her reputation and her excellent communication skills made me trust her in a situation where I would typically NOT ask the sellers agent to be my buyers agent.

Mrs De La Rosa is amazing. There aren't words to explain how easy and hassle free it was to sell my home. I literally did nothing but answer two phone calls from her and digitally sign three emails. How is this possible? This is the third home I have sold, and I couldn't believe how much work she did that I didn't have to do that I had done in the past. I looked at comps before finding her, so I had an idea what would be fair for the property. After speaking with her she said she could beat my expectations with no problem. I was doubtful.
