Long story short, we went from not even really considering moving, to closing on our dream home 2 months and 2 days start to finish, and oh yeah, sold our own home in the same time frame.
Deb initially met my wife and I, at a private showing for a house we had seen here on zillow. It was a Sunday, afternoon 6pm April 21st, my birthday. The house we were to see was put on the market the day before. My wife said lets just go see it, so I can tear it apart and not look at it anymore, because it was consuming her, which had happened many times before.
6pm showing, did the tour and we had a problem (in my eyes), this house hit all the boxes for her. She wanted this house. Deb asked what needed to happen for us to get into this property. I was pretty blunt and said, well this was not supposed to happen, BUT since she wants it we can certainly go for it. But we need to sell our house FIRST to make this happen, we need a minimum of X to be able to throw into this property to make all this work. 2 hours later, again Sunday night, now 8pm. Deb was at our house, taking the tour, giving it to us straight if this was even possible.
Unfortunately (for me) Deb said we can make this happen. We put offer in on house, and they accepted the offer (home-sale contingency) . That was the easy part. Now the real work began. We had two weeks to have an accepted offer on our current residence, of this would all fall through. Worth a shot.
She was upfront and said she requires a lot out of her clients, handed me a punch list and said get to work. I cant say I remember a lot about the next 4 days, but I took a few days off work, and got going. Offer was accepted on Wednesday, staging and professional photos were happening on Saturday. I completed my punch list in the 11th hour.
Open house was the following weekend, FOUR days later, accepted offer, above asking. She had done it.
Fast forward two months later, June 23rd, we were closing on both homes in the same day. Unreal, and all along the way answering all of our questions from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week. Although it was our second home purchase we felt like fish out of water, but Deb eased those concerns by answering questions promptly.
