Karen was invaluable to our process. It takes great skill to lovingly and respectfully deal with two individuals going through a divorce trying to sell a house. She did so with utmost grace. While working with us, she served on the local realtor's ethics board and nourished active relationships with pet shelters. When the seller desired it, which was the case for us, she set it up so a dog would be shown on a video alongside our house... So, if someone was interested in buying the house, they could reach out to Karen and if they wanted to adopt the dog, then they would reach out to the partnering shelter organization.

Karen was amazing! I found her through Ideal Credit Union's Home Advantage Program, choosing her because of her years of experience, locations, and knowledge of working with first-time homebuyers. She is also a great educator about the housing market and set expectations so that you are prepared for the journey of buying a home. I signed a contract with her before the pre-approval process was finalized but she was great about checking in every week to see where we were at and had time to take us to look at listings the first weekend after my preapproval amount came through from the credit union. After seeing the second house that weekend I was in love and she spent the evening helping me write an offer. Thanks to an escalation clause in the contract we ended up with the house for less than my maximum preapproval amount! The following 45 days were challenging working with the credit union to get approved for a grant to help cover downpayment/closing costs and resulted in closing being pushed 2 days later. Through it all, she was flexible, patient, and such a great support system! I am so in love with my new home and know that I wouldn't be here without all of Karen's help along the way, cannot recommend her enough! 2022
