Joni is fantastic! She helped us find our dream home on the coast. Joni has excellent communication skills and will work her tail off for you! We spent more than 6 months looking for a home. During that time she shared lots of local knowledge and helpful tips. We never felt pressured to hurry and settle for a home that we didnt love. Joni definitely goes the extra mile for you. She is diligent, professional and ensures every box is checked. Joni is personable and has amazing follow through. She is highly recommended!

My husband and I got lucky in having Joni recommended to us for our home search in Petaluma. Joni is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She put our needs above all and made the experience so easy and effortless. She was always there when needed and worked around our schedules. She listened to what we were looking for and made of few suggestions of her own. In the end, she found us the perfect home. She walked us through the escrow process, made sure we understood every document we were signing and saw us through to move in day and beyond. We couldn't have done this without Joni's expertise, patience and understanding. I now consider her a friend and would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of buying or selling in the area!

We were looking to retire in Sonoma county and contacted Joni based on reviews we found online. She did not disappoint! Our process was long - over 16 months, and she was great about respecting that and giving us the right amount of attention during each phase of our move. She was a big help in helping us narrow down neighborhoods and being from the midwest we really appreciated her environmental background and her strong knowledge of the fault lines, flood zones, etc. When our Minnesota home sold, we came out for a quick 4 day trip ready to buy in December, not necessarily the best time to find a house, but we quickly narrowed it down to 2 properties, ironically the ones Joni thought we would like best. We made an offer and got a home we love at a great price. Buying a home long distance can be stressful, but Joni made the process easy. We especially appreciated the time she spent overseeing the appraisal as we could not be in town and referring us to contractors to make some changes to our new home. She is a bulldog when it comes to overseeing the details and keeping everyone accountable. Everything was so smooth! It was difficult to rate her on negotiation skills since our initial offer was accepted. We feel fortunate to have found Joni and would strongly recommend her to anyone, but especially out of town buyers like us!
2019
My wife and I moved from San Diego to Santa Rosa last summer. We knew nothing about the area, nor did we know anyone there. At the time, we were mostly looking to rent (but open to buying), but we were still living in San Diego. We had to take weekend trips to go see the few rentals available, and during one of those trips, we met Joni, in April of 2016.
We instantly fell comfortable with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and helped us tremendously in our hunt for the perfect home.
We stayed in contact when we went back to San Diego, and spoke regularly over the phone about the latest homes on the market. She spent a lot of her time previewing properties for us, even giving us live tours with her cell phone (with the Facebook version of Facetime)! I don't know what we would have done without her, 500 miles away from Santa Rosa.
Having not found the perfect home for sale by the time we had to move to Santa Rosa, we had to rent for a few months. Again, Joni helped us a lot by touring rentals for us giving us her insight.
We continued looking for a home for sale after we moved, and ended up placing 3 offers over the course of 5 months. Joni made the process easy and stress-free. The first 2 offers didn't pan out (darned cash buyers!), but the final offer was accepted, and we closed on the house in December of 2016.
I must say that we were probably the most annoying buyers you can think of. We had a precise idea of what we wanted, and a laundry list of must-haves. We were impressed that she put up with us for so long without telling us to find another agent!
We became friends over the course of our long research (9 months!), and we still get together occasionally. I wholeheartedly recommend Joni if you're looking to relocate to the area, or to simply find the perfect home!
