They gave recommendations on having my home of 35 years showcase for me to get good offers, their suggested list price was perfect in a market when interest rates were climbing fast, there photographer was professional and the photos were professional and realistic looking, closing and closer was perfect, communicating with them, the closer and potential buyer realtors was timely and never any mis-communications. We had the opportunity to work with the Herrmann Team for the second time in the sale of our town home in Carver MN. Jim is a great asset as an agent and is well versed in the market. His no nonsense approach to preparing our homes was spot on. You may not always want to hear it but it truly positions you to be best positioned in the market.
The rest of the team is so supportive, quick responding and most important patient. These are trying times and we listed over the holidays when things dramatically slowed. I worked with Jim and the Herrmann team for the second time recently. The first time was a few years ago when the market was struggling to come off the bottom of the big bust, and this property that had a few challenges having started out as a cabin way back when and added onto in klugey kind of ways. Jims an experienced professional and he told me exactly what I needed to do. Between his expertise, contacts, and low flat rate fee, I was able to walk away with a profit. So I circled back for help on moving my townhome. Again, Jim pointed out a lot of little things that I had overlooked, so when we went to market things went quickly and smoothly. Where some realtors would have pushed me to jump at the first offer, knowing the market he advised me to hold my ground and we came up with a much better deal. We are so glad that we listed our home The Herrmann Team. As flat fee realtors, they provided full service at a fraction of the cost. At every step of the way, from listing through closing, Jim and Dory were honest, informative, patient, and professional. Their knowledge and attention to detail were invaluable. They arranged for a professional photographer, communicated effectively with potential buyers, and prepared us for the closing well in advance. Selling and moving are always stressful, but the Herrmann Team helped to lower our stress. For example, when we had to remove our house from the MLS due to a medical issue, Jim and Dory were completely supportive. And when we made some upgrades to our homesuch as remodeling a downstairs bathroomDory explained that we would need to provide documentation, as well as liens for material and labor. At the time, I was annoyed at the paperwork required, but when it came time for the closing, I really appreciated Dorys advice. Then there was the moment the buyer informed us that the closing would be delayed.. I was upset and worried(I was so flustered that I lost my TO DO list that day!)--but Jim explained the situation so calmly and honestly that I quickly calmed down. I never did find my To Do list, and I was confused about the date of the closing, but Jim was always patient and kind. Whats more: we got a good price for our home. We were sad to sell our home, but it was time to downsize. Thats why, whether youre downsizing or upsizing, we highly recommend the Herrmann Team.

I used Jim and Dory to sell my house (3088 Magnolia Dr) on 5/17/2019 and was extremely impressed. I had always used a "full service" broker and paid high commissions. Times have changed----you don't need to pay high commissions. Jim and Dory provide all they services you need to sell your home. Not only did they do professional photos and list the house on MLS, but also helped me with all the issues that typically arise when selling a house---like batteries in fire alarms, changing furnace filters, changing light bulbs, etc. We had already moved to another city 1000 miles away and Jim and Dory went above and beyond to help with the sale. So don't think that if you are moving to another city that you need a "full service broker"---you don't.
Their communication was incredible, their knowledge is vast and the savings are real. Jim and Dory got top dollar for my house.
