The only reason we gave Nina 5 stars is because they didn't have 10 as an option. She went above and beyond even what most people would consider above and beyond. Where to start?! Her communication was excellent. She responded to all our questions--and there were a lot of them. I worked 35 years as an auditor so I peppered her (it seemed) with a lot of questions. She always answered them promptly and NEVER made me feel stupid for asking or acted impatient with me (us). We could tell she was really on top of things. This was especially important as the house went on the market and then sold (1 week) while we were on a 3-week vacation. We had to do all our signing from a distance and she helped and guided us through the process. Another factor that to us was almost bigger was that she helped us find a place to rent as we wanted to stay in the area for a year and didn't want to buy. This was HUGE for us. We were stressed about being able to find a place with a limited amount of time that was legit as we had heard stories of fake rentals (we even looked at two that were fake). What impressed us so much about this was that Nina put as much effort into finding a place to rent as she did in selling our home. This was impressive as we knew that the commission for finding a rental was minimal. It was also especially important for me as I was out of the country for 12 days (Japan) during the whole process and Nina's diligence gave me a peace of mind that I can't really explain. While in Japan she finalized our rental agreement, so that by the time I returned home, we could start moving. Because she knew I would be gone those 12 days, she negotiated us the right to stay in the house for 15 days after escrow closed so that we would have adequate time to move. This gave us SO much peace of mind. We think back to when we were considering who to get for an agent and remember we weren't sure about her as we knew nothing about her (she was my brother-in-laws friend's sister). We went with her as a nod to my brother-in-law, and now we are SO glad we did. We are sure she had other clients, but she made us feel like we were her only ones. If you are reading this review and using it to decide who you want to use, let me say that I think it would be a big mistake if you used anyone else. Nina is definitely 10 Stars on a 5-star scale. 2023
I can't recommend Nina enough as an agent. I am a first time home buyer and had no experience related to purchasing a home. Nina was there for me the whole way. From start to finish, she made sure I was well taken care of during the many ups and downs that come with purchasing a home.
I can tell right away that Nina conducted herself with high integrity and moral standards; hence, she isn't in the business in trying to pressure you into purchasing an more expensive home just so she can make a higher commission. When Nina and I were looking at homes, she never pressured me into purchasing anything. She showed me listings within my buget, and gave me the opportunity to allow myself to decide what home I wanted to purchase. This made house hunting fun!
When I finally decided to put an offer in, she was there to walk me through the paperwork and answered all of my questions. When I had to counter offer 3 different times, she was there to help talk it out with me and give me my options. When I finally got my offer accepted, she was there to help me with the escrow process and answer the million other questions. When the escrow process derailed towards the end from an unanticipated issue, she was on the phone, sending emails, doing everything possible to get it back on track. She worked late nights and long hours behind the scene to ensure everything was taken care of and addressed. And when escrow finally closed, she was there to give me my keys!
Throughout this whole experience, Nina was there for me and truly cares about the homebuyer, and I am sure the same goes for the the home seller. I would recommend Nina instantly, and I will definately use her again for future home buying and home selling needs.
