I met Aviva in September of 2019 when my husband and I first started considering moving from Maryland to Asheville. I saw an online ad for a home and contacted the agent, who happened to be Aviva, for more information. I told her we were unsure of our plans and timeline. She answered all our questions and we said we would be back in touch when we had more concrete plans.
That happened in early March of 2020. We planned a trip to Asheville and asked Aviva to line up some properties for us to visit. This was all just before Covid, and we had an enjoyable and enlightening time driving around with Aviva and seeing a number of beautiful homes in Asheville.
We finally made the move to a rented home in Asheville in November 2020 and started looking in earnest. Aviva sent us regular updates on available homes and was able to meet us at any home we told her we wanted to see, even as far away as Hendersonville and Lake James. She pointed out things about the home that we would have otherwise missed and was able to put the home in the context of the Asheville real estate market overall. She made arrangements for conversations with nearby homeowners, builders, and remodelers when we asked for them. Even though I know Aviva had multiple clients, I always felt like I had her unhurried, undivided attention.
We finally found the perfect home in February 2021. Aviva arranged for a showing the same day the home was listed and helped us write a contract that was submitted that evening and accepted the next day. We were thrilled and are looking forward to getting settled in the home of our dreams!
What I appreciate most about Aviva is her balanced approach. She provided thorough information but was never pushy. She knew that what we were looking for would be hard to find, but never tried to convince us to look for something else. She was patient, but when it was necessary to move quickly, she was able to do so, while keeping track of many moving pieces at once. When we were panicking due to problems with our lender, she was calm and reassuring and helped get everything resolved.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Aviva as a Broker in a recent transaction in which she represented the Seller, and I represented the Buyer.
