As a resident doctor moving into the Jackson area, I reached out to Ms. Katie Hale at the recommendation of a colleague in Tennessee. Rather than simply saying, "She's amazing!", I'll try to describe a bit of our great experience with Katie and her wonderful team.
On the first day we met Katie, she gave a fantastic tour of the area, welcoming us to Jackson and pointing out a number of her local favorite places (dining, shopping, entertainment, churches, etc.). As we discussed the area and got to know each other, she also asked detailed questions about what we were looking for in a house. Clearly, she wanted to help us find a house the would truly feel like a "home." Over the next few days, Katie remained available to show us homes as they became available in the extremely tight housing market, intuitively allowing my wife and me a little time at each place to chat in privacy while she stepped away for a few minutes to give us personal space. She never pushed us in any specific direction, but always provided helpful information and answers when we had questions or concerns about a property she showed. As highly independent and self-assured people by nature, my wife and I much appreciated Katie's balance of availability and respect for our individualism. I love Katie Hale!!! I owned a rental home in Jackson for almost 14 years and when it was time to sell, Katie was the only Realtor out of 5 I contacted who responded (I live out of state and did not know who to use to sell my rental). She hung with me for over a year while I got my act together with my tenant then when the timing was finally right, she helped me with the best way to sell the place...she told me she had a list of investors to market the home to ... and to expect things to move fast once we got it on the market. Katie deserves another 5 star rating in the area of patience. This was the second home my wife and I bought. My wife and I were looking for either land or that perfect house because we intend for this to be the last move. We looked at several homes with Katie and her husband Joey over the course of a year.
