Great agent. Put up with us traveling all over 3 counties, some 2 dozen properties, buying and canceling one contract, what patience. We made several mistakes along the way, and she helped us correct them. She helped us by recommending and working with inspectors, providing reputable folks for septic, foundation and other areas of concern. She and our mortgage company kept us informed of all issues, and the house we ended up buying, was closed in record time. "Jinny" is a real trooper, full of wisdom in this region and highly recommended. While we don't plan on moving anytime soon, we will call her 1st.

While living in Florida, we came to NC to find our next home. We didn't even have a realtor when we were driving here. Jinny was recommended to us and we just went with her, hoping for the best. Well she IS THE BEST! She was knowledgeable about the area, not to mention she is the most ethical realtor we have EVER worked with and has a lot of patience. At one point, we decided to continue looking for a different home since the seller was making things difficult in the negotiation process. We called Jinny and told her that we wanted to continue to look THAT DAY, mind you it was afternoon and she was showing other buyers some homes. Even though she was tired and had something else to be at, she fit us in last minute and was even cheery! When we called her afterwards and said we wanted to go with the original home, as the sellers had counter offered, she was excited for us and not once made us feel as though we inconvenienced her or wasted her time. She even answered every single question we had honestly and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process. We were NEVER left in the dark on anything during the whole process, start to finish! Having dealt with many realtors before, I can honestly say that none of them have held a candle to her! I was getting ready to retire, living in New Jersey and looking to relocate in the South. While searching, a family friend was purchasing a home in Goldsboro and gave me her realtor's name and phone number. I hesitated at first because I had never heard of Goldsboro nor did I wanted to live in North Carolina. nFinally I gave Virginia Lyon (Jinny) a call and left a message. She was out of town but returned my message to let me know she would contact me when she returned. We spoke and compiled a list of houses for me to see when I visited Goldsboro. It was my first time buying a house and she guided me through every step. My being out of state, she provided me with lists of contractors/professionals. Each person on the lists, if chosen or not, performed in a courteous, timely and professional manner. We closed on time. nDuring the process she pointed out places or mentioned events she thought would be of interest to me. Even though the majority of our interactions were through texts, emails and phone,I always sensed a personal touch. There was no pressure. Jinny is a fantastic person both professionally and personally. She went above and beyond helping us with the process of searching for the perfect house and never once made us feel rushed or hurried into signing anything. Her professionalism was outstanding and she was able to offer us advice using her experience with other buyers and sellers in the market as well as her own experiences with home owning. This was completely new territory for my husband and I and Jinny made the entire process comfortable, answered all of our questions to the best of her knowledge or made it a priority to find the answer for us, addressed all of our concerns, and never made us feel like she knew better than us. I could feel the stress being melted away every time we spoke and I truly felt like she had our best interest in mind. We looked at several different types of houses which gave her a better understanding of what we were looking for, where we had been before, and what we were used to. I never once felt like she was trying to sell us a house just to sell us a house. She never once looked at a bad house and tried to sell us the silver lining to change our minds about it. She knew exactly what we were looking for and even caught things we wouldn't have seen because we are inexperienced.
