I was a first time homebuyer with limited knowledge of the homebuying process. Josh came as a recommendation from a friend and was a great decision for me. Within the first time i ever spoke to him, he connected me with a lender that could offer me a down payment assistance grant that completely changed my price range. He then was ready and willing to go to both open houses and private showings. We looked at both houses and townhouses and he would listen to my concerns and we'd talk through what a strong offer would be. Ultimately, i was able to land a winning bid on a home because of his advice to go just a bit over what we expected the final bid to be - and that extra push is what ended up winning it. I met Josh when I went to look at a house as I was just browsing and not quite ready to buy. At the time he was helpful. I contacted him to see a few more properties. The market was quite frustrating as I was not in a position to compete in bidding wars, even though I gave it a good effort. While Josh was honest about the market and whether or not he thought an offer would be competitive, there was once or twice I did not feel supported. I was able to communicate with Josh and work this out. I went through a lot during the 8 or 9 months it took me to find a place that I absolutely love!
