My husband and I decided to work with Charlotte Savoy and her team after receiving a referral from a friend. Our experiences with Charlotte can be summed up in the gift she presented us with on our settlement day: she gave us a really cute sign that has the coordinates of our house. Unfortunately, we cannot use it because it shows our name as The Jones instead of The Joneses. I appreciate her thoughtfulness although she didnt quite execute it well. We worked with Charlotte to sell our current home. That went almost without any hitches. I enjoyed working with her stager, Liz. She prevented me from spending money unnecessarily. Charlotte and Amy marketed the home well, held an Open House weekend, and our home essentially sold within a weekend. Awesome. I cannot thank them enough for the work that they put in. After we sold our house, we began looking for a new house. Charlotte gave us access to the MLS so we could see coming soon as well as active listings. Do not take this for granted. I found from talking to a realtor friend and from friends who were selling and buying houses when we were, that not all agents provide this access to their clients without the clients having to ask. Penny was the Savoy team member who met us at prospective houses. Another positive for Charlotte she is extremely knowledgeable of many different neighborhoods. I could give her an address and she could tell me if I would like it or if it was in an area or situated in such a way that I would not like. And she was never wrong. On several occasions she told us to go visit the neighborhood of a house on our own before she would set up an appointment to show us the house. I found this a little off-putting. I understand she doesnt want to waste her time, but I feel like half of an agents job is to communicate and interface with various people on your behalf and the other half of the job is to show you houses. Also, after a few weeks of house shopping, I did get the impression from Charlotte that she was impatient for us to find a home. She told us after each day of seeing homes and not wanting to put an offer on one that there is no such thing as a perfect house. I do believe that is true, but I dont want to feel shamed or rushed into making such a huge purchase just so my agent can move on to the next client. Charlotte also told us to attend Open Houses (so we wouldnt have to ask her team to show us houses). As a matter of fact, the house my husband and I decided to buy was a house we found on our own and attended an Open House. This should also not be taken for granted. There are agents who will attend Open Houses with clients in order to see the house when they see it, point out factors about the house that a layman house buyer may not pay attention to, and be that support that some people feel they need while navigating such a tremendous decision. There are people who say that their agents made them feel like their only client. I cannot say that about Charlotte. It felt like she weighed every opportunity for interaction with us against whether it was worth her spending the time. I didnt always feel like I could trust information we received from Charlotte. For instance, she told us we could choose our own lender even though she referred one to us. When we shared with her a lender we wanted to work with, she said she had never heard of the lender and recommended against the lender. However, our buyers used that lender when we sold our home. When we brought that up, she changed the story to the lender was unprofessional and unreliable, needing many follow ups. But she never mentioned any of this while we were going through the selling process. She encouraged us to accept that offer with that lender even though it was slightly lower than another offer we received. She kept bringing up the lender she referred even though his interest rates were higher than market. When we told her we were not going with him when we can pay a lower rate, she said if we want a lower interest rate then we should go with this other lender. I have no clue why she was so determined for us to use her first referral when she works with another lender that offered a lower interest rate. Charlotte is responsive and typically she moves to solve problems quickly. Our sellers agent told us we could move into our new house on August 22nd; however, she had not told the sellers that. The day we arrived at our new home with our moving truck, the sellers were still there. I called Charlotte immediately, and she got back to me within 30 minutes. I do have to mention that Charlottes responsive isnt always stellar. I reached out to her when our buyers moved into the home we sold because we had to pay a security deposit to rent our home back from the buyers. I was told after the buyers completed their walkthrough; we would receive our deposit back. Several days went by and even with a follow up to Charlotte, I ended up having to reach out to the buyers agent myself to get that all squared away; even though Charlottes last response to me was we will check on that for you. I chalk that up to the fact that having sold and bought our homes, Charlotte considered her business with us finished and she had already moved on to current clients. My overall impression of Charlotte and the Savoy Team is they are stupendous when it comes to listing and selling homes. There was a wonderful professionalism to the entire process. Amanda Heflin, Charlotte Savoy, and the Savoy team were incredible during our home buying process. We ran across Amanda based on a Google search of local realtors. I called her one day to talk about buying some property and she really took the time to get to know us and our needs. Amanda even took the time to ask about our dogs and what they needed in a house. We didn't end up purchasing at that time, but we reached back out to her months later when the time was right.

I project manage for a career and my expectation for clear and effective and mostly, timely, communication is extremely high. The Savoy Team has been on the ball from day one. I specifically would like to call out, agent, Ashley Migliore. She was a true foot soldier! She asked me what I was looking for and since I had been studying the market for the last 2 years, patiently awaiting my dream home, I knew exactly what "wasn't" out there.... I told her that she wouldn't be able to find what didn't exist. Within one hour, she came back with a house that I had never seen before. It met all of my boxes and then some.
