I would NOT recommend Tyson Redmond as a real estate agent. Based on my personal experience, it is my opinion he is untrustworthy and can be treacherous. I am 82 years old with physical disabilities and modest cognitive challenge common to that age group. Tyson Redmond is my former grandson-in-law. He and I had maintained a familial relationship after his mother and my son had divorced. Tyson has consistently referred to his "Grandpa." My initial appraisal of his real estate agent reviews indicated he had a good record. In August 2020, I employed Tyson to help sell my house where I had lived since 1971. I told Tyson the mortgage was paid off and I had savings of $200,000 or more to fix up the house for sale. Without my express advance knowledge and approval, Tyson established dual agency to gain a double commission. He recommended I sell the house "as-is." He asserted that even if I fixed the house up it would only increase the sales price by around $100,000 or so. Tyson commented that I I would have to be out of the house at times during construction, and there would be other inconveniences in the process. So, I continued to employ Tyson as my real estate agent to sell the house on an "as-in" basis. After the first showing , Tyson said a prospective buyer had made an offer of $825,000. My son and his wife made a competitive offer. Tyson said the prospective buyer he was also representing increased his offer to $900,000. I asked Tyson to respond with a $925,000 sale price. Tyson said the prospective buyer he also represented had countered with an offer of $875,000. I questioned Tyson why the prospective buyer reduced his offer by $25,000.Tyson informed me the prospective buyer said $875,000 was his final offer because I had supposedly agreed to $900,000 and then responded with a $925,000 proposal. When I directly asked Tyson why he was advancing the buyer's interests over mine, Tyson stated he had just met the prospective buyer and had no reason to favor him. However, at a later meeting with my son and daughter-in-law, Tyson admitted that actually he and the prospective buyer were partners in another real estate transaction. After additional negotiations, Tyson contacted me to suggest I accept $870,000 to resolve the sale and I finally assented. I have later learned my former house was remodeled (as I initially had planned and discussed with Tyson) and sold for over $1,600,000. Employing Tyson Redmond as my real estate agent to help sell my house was one of my biggest mistakes. Tyson established dual agency without my advance express informed approval. He opposed my initial intentions and plan to use $200,000 to rehab my house for sale and purposely misled me about the potential market value of my house to promote an "as-is" sale. Tyson falsely told me at first that he had not met the buyer before, then admitted they were partners in another real estate transaction. Tyson did not fulfill the required fiduciary duties of acting in the highest good faith to my interests. As a result of his manipulations, I incurred a greatly reduced financial benefit from the sale of my house. I do NOT recommend Tyson as a real estate agent. Based on my experience, it is my strong belief Tyson Redmond is devious and worthy of trust. 2020
My experience with Tyson was nothing short of amazing.
My husband and I were first time homebuyers who just so happened to decide to purchase a home during one of the most competitive times in real estate for buyers. We are talking lines out the door to see one house, houses maybe lasting on the market for a few days AT MOST and multiple buyers offering wayyyy over asking. It is easy to feel intimidated as a first time homebuyer coupled with using down payment assistance but John and I were not intimidated because we had an amazing agent. My husband and I were able to get into contract on a house we loved in less than a week with Tyson! He was extremely patient and knowledgeable and took time to do his due diligence with every house we were interested in looking at. Additionally, Tysons advice was always spot on during the process and he was always willing to advocate for us when needed. All of that to say, Tyson was great and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not select Tyson as your next realtor.

Tyson is patient and walked us through 100 attempts at what we thought might be our forever home while listening to the million things we didnt agree with, patiently, and asked us guiding questions in an effort to zero in perfection with 0 bias. When we finalllly found our dream home, he was of course supportive. His calm demeanor made us feel super comfortable.
