Leah is the best realtor ever. She assisted my husband and I in buying our first home. She is incredibly response, so kind, and honest. Through this process, she has become a great friend of ours. As a first-time home buyer, I had a lot of questions about the entire home buying process, but also about general home ownership. Though the buying experience is a little bit different because of COVID, Leah exceeded all my expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area, passionate, and personable. Because of these qualities, it was a pleasure working together on finding the right home. I can only hope to work together with her again in the future if Im buying or selling a property.
At every stage of the process, there were things that she did that I totally did not expect. For example, she considered all of the criteria on our initial meet and greet phone call to come up with some potential neighborhoods. Because of that, we saw some neighborhoods that didnt show up on my own personal searches that had some great homes and communities.
As we spent several weeks working together to flag potential homes and visit them in person, I learned a lot about the process and appreciated her professionalism. When she is on tour with you, you are her focus.
Eventually, we did move forward, and draft offers together. Again, another area where she can share some tricks of the trade in todays competitive market. It is extremely competitive right now so we did submit multiple offers during our time together and she made sure that we were practical and not overbidding just to have an offer selected. If I remember correctly, we made offers on 6 or 7 homes. Things are competitive in the Sacramento area right now, so we did struggle with morale as our search endured. She respected when we needed a few days to recharge and that was appreciated.
Some of my favorite moments of our time together was when she shared some cookies from her daughter (since my drive home is a little long!) or when she shares insights about the area on things to do and places to eat. She also maintained a high level of responsiveness/communication throughout the entire process with prompt phone calls, detailed text messages, and email updates when required. All of these great qualities have continued during our closing process where we negotiated a few items with the sellers.
Im grateful to have had her expertise and guidance during this process. Im excited about the home were about to close on. I cant possibly recommend Leah enough. I truly felt her compassion to make sure that we were making a life investment that made sense for us.
Prior to Leah, my wife and I tried to buy a house and it fell through with an awful experience. So, this time around my wife and I were reluctant to go through the process again, but Im glad we tried again. We were so fortunate to have Leah as our Realtor. As our Realtor, she helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. Leah helped us understand the market, the current offer trends and the behind the scenes work. She was patient as we looked at homes and cautioned us about making unreasonable and reasonable offers. Even during the pandemic, everything has changed, but Leah was still patient with us and made the time to advise, discuss, and explain the steps along the way. It made it easier for us to understand the parts she can control and the parts out of her control. She has a caring and loving heart and you can feel it. Leah gave us her professional and personal opinions when asked and she understood our needs and wants as new home buyers. We quickly realized needs get outweighed more than wants, but it was an awesome experience. We even advised Leah she can fire us as clients, but she was so patient and helped us every step of the way. I can honestly say, my wife and I made a new friend. Leah was amazing!! I was a first time home buyer and she explained everything to me!! It was a wonderful experience. There were a few hiccups early on, but she helped me through all of them. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in the area!! After interviewing other agents, a coworker recommended I reach out to Leah, and I am incredibly thankful she did. From the first conversation with her to set up our interview, Leah was thoughtful, helpful, and accommodating. She showed a personal interest in helping us find our first home together that no other agent had displayed. n nDuring our interview with Leah, she took the time to really get to know us. Additionally, she took an opportunity to teach us about being a buyer in this market. Given that this was our first home, we greatly appreciated this extra step she took throughout the process to thoroughly explain the processes. I am the type of person who needs to read and understand everything, and Leah always took the time to respond to emails, phone calls, text messages, to make sure that I felt comfortable and understood the situation. In addition to being new the home buying process, my husband and I were also new to the area. Leah helped us narrow down our search area to meet our desires regarding proximity to work, recreation, amount of property we would like to own, etc. Leah truly gives 110%; she is a woman of integrity and dedication. n nI wish I could give Leah more than 5 stars.
