SO pleased with this real estate pro!
Steve exceeded all of our expectations in buying our new home. Even though he was the listing agent of the property we purchased, it was evident that he really looked out for our best interests too! It was reassuring to know that he would not permit us to be taken advantage of and he made helpful suggestions in our contract language and negotiations. All parties won in this transaction. His sellers got a full price offer and we got the home we wanted for a fair price that we were willing to pay.
Steve maintains great communication and was diligent to answer our after hour texts and quickly return our phone calls in spite of time zone differences. He was patient to carefully explain the intricacies of TN real estate laws and nuances of the contract language. We are senior citizens and Steve was not, in the least, averse to a little hand-holding when needed. He is an empathetic and compassionate man and was so comforting concerning our life circumstances during the process and as we lost a dear friend during the week of our closing. His famous quotes were Dont worry about it, Ive got this. Indeed, he did! And when we thanked him profusely for going beyond the call of duty he would say Its what I do!
Steve was also instrumental in helping us set up our new accounts and orchestrating utility installations that were necessary in our absence. He actually went, in-person, to those involved and got the information we needed to make our decisions. On closing day Steve drove ahead of us to lead us to the various offices we needed to do business with in our new city. He even gave us some really good advice on the sale of one of our current homes in another city that he was not representing. He said, do this because you dont want to leave money on the table. We took that advise and the result netted us tens of thousands of additional dollars in the sales contract we just received.
