We started working with Jim 35 years ago when he just got out of college and was selling mortgage loans from his office/bedroom at his parents house in Mill Valley. We received a simple card in the mail saying he was open for business. Since then we've financed and refinanced with Jim at least six times. When he became a realtor, we signed up with Jim to sell our home and represent us as buyers on the home we live in now. It's been an important relationship for us and every conversation with Jim has been a joy. He's positive, honest, communicative and knowledgeable just for starters. I know he has much more important clients but over the last 35 years I can't remember ever going to voicemail. Now he's working with our daughter who is facing the challenges of buying her first home. We feel fortunate to have him in our orbit and to be able to hand the relationship down to our adult children knowing they're in good hands.
It is not unknown throughout the Novato community how wonderful the Shroyer family is to the people of Novato . Upon renting their darling property on Michele Circle Jim and Toni personally showed up to welcome us and hand over the keys. Our first impression from meeting them was nothing short of amazing and from there their level of responsiveness and professionalism completely exceeded any of expectations that one would assume be for a tenant- landlord relationship. While the home was completely immaculate and well taken care of upon moving in - whenever something came up that needed attention or if we had a question Jim or Toni handled it right away. I can only hope that if we become landlords someday we will be as wonderful to our tenants as Jim and Toni have been to us. We recently have purchased our first home in Bend Oregon and if we return to the Bay Area will absolutely hope the Shroyers would be our realtor as their experience, professionalism and values are incomparable. 2018
