Brenda came highly recommended to us by a mutual contact. My husband and I both have connections with several amazing realtors and have enough to choose from whom we have personal relationships with, that it says a lot we went with Brenda. One thing we liked from the get-go was that Brenda exudes confidence and capability. Our mutual contact assured me that she succeeds at whatever she does, and after talking with her over the phone in an initial consultation, I could literally hear the sunshine over the line. The situation Brenda came into with us was immediately a bit high stakes as when she stepped in to help us sell our property, we'd just discontinued working with our previous realtor and had lost a good two months in getting our lot sold - all this while we were in-between jobs, homes, and really needed our savings out of our property to help us land on our feet with a startup. Brenda was understanding from the get-go and ready to get down to work. Once we signed with her, our property was up and listed within a couple of days.

While the realtor we'd worked with previously was professional and personable, right away we noticed that Brenda was a bit faster with communication and updates. Brenda was always available - and quickly responded via our own preference types (which was, generally, texting with some calls and emails as well), and she sent us regular updates that were not simply the typical weekly "canned" bits of info on what activity looked like on selling our property. Brenda walked us through it all, and she was always one step ahead. Our property had a few challenges, even while being in a desired spot and lovely as can be. While the sale took a bit longer than we would have liked (likely due, again, to a couple of issues like water shares), Brenda never wavered on her insistence we were asking the right amount and it was priced correctly - and we're so glad we were able to get it sold for our initial asking price. The way we were able to do this was due Brenda's making a prospective buyer's information package on the property. She solicited all we knew about it and had that readily available. She advised us rather early on to get the septic permit approved (which we did) - rather than just leave it as a feasibility approval. She followed up in a warm and personable manner with all the serious prospective buyers, and this is what kept us going for a few months when it didn't seem our property was going to budge, and we were dealing with a major move, putting all of our belongings in storage, and trying to find a way to pay never-ending piles of bills.

Brenda negotiated at the table for us as our advocate, and she always treated us respectfully - which is something we have valued. Anyone whom Brenda is willing to work for will be lucky to have her!
