My husband and I started our searches to buy our first home. At first, we had another realtor, but after one-month doing offers and understanding better the market, we realized that with the other realtor, we never would get home because they did not explain how things work in the U.S. to buy a home, as a foreign it's tough to understand this market.
When we almost decided to give up on this process, we met with Susan Jonshon. It was our best experience ever with a professional in the U.S.
She first explained to us how the market works, how the contingency works, what a realistic offer is, and if the offer can be accepted at first with the amount offered.
She is so sweet patient and answers the phone, texts, and emails so fast. She cares about the buyer and at first understand the profile, does research, talks about the area's price point, and makes a plan to get the home at the first offer.
We just made one offer with Susan Jonshon, and the offer has been accepted for $10.000,00 less than the asked price. The appraisal came $35.000,00 more than the closed price with this crazy California market. She fought hard for the customers; we got some credits from the seller to fix some minor things at home, we got 13 months of the home warranty. Also, we closed in two weeks because she helped to get things to go smoothly.
She understands the anxiety and stress of this process and transforms it into fun.
