I called 2 agencies. Tom replied quickly and set up a same day walk through to assess the property. He followed up on the walk through by phoning me to outline his strategy for marketing the property and getting the best price quickly. I signed the listing agreement and that evening he had 3 showings and one over-asking offer. The next day he had additional showings and 2 more offers, both over asking. By day 3 I was under contract for a cash sale, no contingencies. I closed in a little over 2 weeks, without and the closing was handled remotely with no need for me to fly into Ohio (I'm an out of state seller). It was Tom's quick response, and his ability to quickly outline a strategy that made me sign with him. Once I signed, he quickly delivered a strategy that exactly matched what he outlined and it worked! Tom definitely knows the market and knows where to find the right buyers!

I almost flew from Denver to see a home in Denver. Set up on some 3 day listing. One phone call with Tom provided little useful information. The statement of " it just needs updated and the house is structurally good" was either blatant lie or proves ignorance of the property be represented. Instead of spending the $1600 for a one way trip back. I enlisted a good friend that's a home inspector to view the property. A simple walk around the outside and within 15 mins finds structural damage and more rot than you can shake a stick at. I know it's a " hot " market that's cooling. But to say.... The home just needs updated?
Buyer beware in this current market. And shame on those looking to take advantage of folks who are caught in the storm and may not have the knowledge to save themselves. Tom.... Shame on you. So instead of being out a plane ticket and leaving my pops early on my father's day vaca. It just cost me a hundred to have a pro go walk around it. Glad I didn't jump on a plane. Then I'd really be upset. The more you know.

I first contacted Tom Deutsch when I needed an estimate of what a house and property was valued at as I was the Executor for an elderly friend who had entered a nursing home. Using Tom's estimate I sold the home and property to an acquaintance but did not use Tom's services. Then, fifteen months later, I contacted Tom for the same purpose when my older, single brother passed suddenly. Tom visited the property even though it was 25 miles from his office. Again he quickly provided an estimate and included the same impressive documentation on how he based his valuation of my brother's property. I intended to use his services in listing the house but, this time a cousin purchased the house without the need of a realtor.

Tom was gracious and professional when I explained the circumstances for not using his services. For these reasons, I decided to use Tom's Deutsch and his Team's services when we decided to sell our investment property in Westwood, Ohio.

We are totally impressed with Tom Deutsch in the advice he gave throughout the process and in deciding what offer to accept. We had six offers, he took over an hour to review them late on a Friday afternoon explaining various important factors we had not considered when choosing an offer.
