The pictures were amazing and he put the listing up that night! 6 days later we were under contract with the first couple that had looked at the home. Then he helped us search for a new house, and when we found it, he negotiated like crazy. We got everything we asked for in the deal, and the whole process of buying and selling was only 2 months! Rick was outstanding in finding us a new home in Avon, CT. We was patient travelling all over the area and arranging for showings. Rick worked diligently to help us find our Connecticut home. We were not from the area. We relocated from NJ. This meant we had no direction. He patiently ran all over the state with us until he got to know us. He quickly got to know us and offered invaluable insight with his knowledge of us and what he knew we were looking for. When we found a home that we loved, he literally had all negotiations and inspections completed within a week. We were closed and relocated in 4 weeks. Rick was extremely responsive and patient as he worked with my husband, mother-in-law and I during the home shopping phase. We spent hours searching through property listings and toured over a dozen homes. Rick was prompt and punctual with each scheduling, often same day. Fantasy turned into reality real fast when we lost a house that was pulled off the market. Ricks response was clear the market moves fast, this home wasnt for us, we had more properties to visit and everyone had to be ready with our next opportunity.
When we found a home that satisfied our unique situation, Ricks first big challenge was to convince the Seller to agree to a Hubbard Clause. This was not an easy feat in a hot housing market where the owner was eager to sell. But Rick got us under contract and quickly refocused on selling our two condos.
Everybody thinks their homes are worth more than they are, but Rick helped us keep our expectations reasonable. By pricing our condos accurately and fairly, he ensured we received immediate interest and positioned us for quick sales. Some realtors put this phase on cruise control, but Santa Realty was far more involved and responsive. And Rick illustrated just how much he protects his clients once by escalating disciplinary action against a competing agent that showed our property without our consent or knowledge. Santa Realty does things the correct, honest and safe way and ensures others do the same.
At the end of the day, Rick helped us buy our new home by aggressively marketing and selling our two condos in record time. He is honest, knowledgeable, fun, understanding and extremely thorough. His communication and responsiveness is second to none. And Ricks extensive knowledge of the area was invaluable in helping us with the search and purchase process.
