As out-of-town and first-home buyers who needed to move to the Toledo area on a short timeline, Alex went above and beyond in listening to our preferences for pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods and charming historic homes. His market expertise, consistent thoroughness, close attention to detail, and personal experience as a long-time resident of the area helped us find some gems we would have absolutely overlooked if doing this process on our own or going with a different realtor (and we did interview quite a few!). Furthermore, for all the times we couldn't make it to a showing in person, we trusted him to do a comprehensive virtual walk-through for a number of homes on our list. Given the unique circumstances presented by both COVID-19 and a "hot" seller's market, this option allowed us to act quickly in working with Alex to draft a strong offer within a few hours (and sometimes, even minutes) after seeing a home.
More importantly, Alex's sound advice and quick responsiveness was even more instrumental in moving us through a relatively speedy and painless contract stage. His connections in the community led us to a great inspection service that is highly experienced with surveying historic homes. He successfully negotiated with the seller's agent for all of the major repairs identified (~$15,000 total) and helped make sure that all the paperwork was done on time so that we were able to close within 30 days of our offer being accepted. It is worth mentioning that we started our search in early-mid April! Many have said we were simply lucky to get through the process so quickly but we believe a huge part of this success was due to Alex's help.

This is our fourth move with realtors involved. We talked with three realtors before selecting Alex to market and represent the property. I can say ,I am blessed to meet Alex. As a first time home buyer, I had no any idea of what to focus on when looking for apartment and what the process of mortgage is.
