My wife, children and I relocated back to the Columbus area after living in Pennsylvania for 2 years. While we weren't new to Columbus, we did not live in Dublin previously and had limited knowledge of the neighborhoods in Dublin. John's knowledge of Dublin made it easier for us to set up an automated search for properties that fit our needs and wants.
We were buying at the worst time of the year - late fall, just before the holiday season! The market was drying up, fewer and fewer houses were popping up on the market. After looking for about 2-3 months, we had begun to lose hope that we'd ever find a home that we wanted within our price range. However, John's confidence, demeanor, and professionalism gave us hope that we'd find a house before Christmas.
He was right! A house had been on the market for some time, and the sellers lowered the price into our range. John immediately set up a viewing for the entire family and as soon as we walked in we knew this house was the one! We discussed and compared area sales with John to come up with a strategic offer. We put an offer on the house the next evening (after a second showing) and had a contract accepted by the sellers before 10AM the next morning! Needless to say, the closing process went smoothly, and we were in the house on December 20, just in time for Christmas! Since all of our things were in boxes, John was kind enough to give us a tree stand so that we could have a tree up in time for Christmas.
As a buyer, I highly recommend working with John. He is a true real estate professional. He has many contacts in the area that he can use to leverage things for his clients. Communication with him was always prompt: either via email, texting or phone calls. If I were to find myself on the market looking to sell my current home and to buy a new home, John Francis would be the first real estate agent my wife and I would contact.
