Kathy Murray came highly recommended to us from friends who recently used her as a broker in buying their first home. I thought at first the over the top glowing nature with which she was referred to us was a bit of a sell job. Turns out, she lived up to every bit of the hype.
Kathy was truly amazing! Being first time home buyers, we were pretty nervous about the whole ordeal. Kathy understood that, took the time to walk us through things, explain complicated items in simpler terms, and also give good assessments on whether or not houses were worth the cost. As we went on more and more open houses, Kathy would walk us through her strategies to be employed if we decided to move on it. Kathy was also great at picking out potential pain-points and problems that we needed to keep an eye out for with each house we visited.
Kathy never pressured us, even when we began to stress that we might not find something, she reassured us that we would find what we were looking for. She was honest about her opinions and never sugar coated anything. When we had questions, Kathy was there to answer them or get us in touch with someone she trusted to give us the right answer. She had a great knowledge of the area and the market at the time. Kathy knew where things were, took the time to learn about us and mention how far away things that might interest us would be, and always had an idea on the comps in the area. She was available to us whenever we needed her and met us at every open house we went to, which was a lot. Kathy even took the time to venture outside her normal market to look at houses in other towns that we were interested in.
When it came time to close, Kathy got us in touch with her tremendous network of lawyers, insurance agents, and loan officers. You could tell they have a nice tight knit unit that works great together and made streamlining the process so easy. The reassurances we had knowing we were in good hands with Kathy and her team cannot be expressed enough.
We consider Kathy a part of the family now with how much time we spent together and communicated over the last six months or so. As long as Kathy is doing what she's doing, I'll recommend her to everyone I know. 2017
