I was asked to review my recent experience when I purchased a brand new home. First, let me say I am so glad I used The VA Lady instead of the lender for the builder. I didnt like the fact that they practically forced me to apply with their lender even though my loan was already approved with The VA Lady. I later found out by using the builders mortgage company, they will have you close on the house without getting certified by the county to say the house is safe and has met all the requirements. Scary! My closing ended up being delayed for 3 weeks while the builder had to redo part of the bathroom and the roof. It was a blessing using The VA Lady because we could not close until everything was 100% completed and passed all inspections. They watch out for us to be sure we were fully protected in every way. 2020
