Ill get the important bit out of the way: if youre buying a home, Brittany is the person you want on your side. We beat out a superior cash offer on our dream home, and I am 100 percent convinced that Brittany is the reason for that. I know this because the selling agent told us so directly, right after escrow closed.

A little about Brittany: she is genuine and incredibly nice, but also willing to fight for her clients when necessary. Shes not at all pushy or salesperson-y (which is extremely important to me as an ex-salesperson, I have a sensitive nose when it comes to, ummm. . . horse manure). She checks in with important info, but also handles business behind the scenes so as not to worry her clients. There were problems that would have made us anxious had we known about thembut Brittany just handled things, so we didnt have to stress out.

We werent typical home buyers, meaning we werent consistently looking at house after house with a specific time frame. We were fine sitting tight, because we did not want just A house, but THE house. On a random Saturday, a house popped up we thought we might like, but after the open house, we decided it wasnt for us. Thats where we met Brittany. We told her that when we found a house we liked (which probably wouldnt be for a year so), wed reach out. Unlike other agents, Brittany didnt push, she just told us to reach out when we were ready.

Coincidentally, not more than a week later, THE house came on the market. It had everything we were looking for. It was quirky and weird, with artistic, handcrafted touches (like a tile mosaic hearth), and an overall inviting vibe. So, we texted Brittany.

We were first-time home buyers, and Brittany deftly guided us through the entire process. From beginning to end, she patiently explained every step and made sure things were being done in a timely manner with the selling agent, our lender, and the other companies involved in the sale. All we ever really had to do was sign paperwork. And now, were just finishing up moving into a house we never thought wed get. A house we wouldnt have without Brittany.
