I had checked with Zillow & Realtor.com to get and idea of what my house was worth. Kelly felt that those estimates were too low and suggested a much higher price. I decided to go with her expertise. The first thing that needed to be done was the preparation of the house. Kelly identified the things that needed to be done. She brought in someone to power wash, repair and paint where needed. She managed my gardeners to present the property in the best possible light. She met with a moving company to arrange the shipment of the things we wanted in Florida. Kelly then took complete responsibility for selling some items, giving away others and then, finally, working with a trash removal company to empty the house of everything else. She worked with a Septic company to get the required Title 5 certificate. When the house was completely ready, Kelly arranged a 2 hour open house and got 2 offers, both over the asking price. We selected a buyer and then Kelly took responsibility for handling the buyers inspection, the appraisal and all of the detailed work that is required during a house sale. When the buyer wanted money to cover some of the things found during the inspection, Kelly negotiated hard and reduced the amount they wanted by almost 50%. Dealing with Kelly, I never felt any pressure, was always informed about what was going on and felt completely assured that I was in good, competent hands. Kelly was amazing at pointing out things to consider with the house as far as inspection and/or negotiating. She was phenomenal with negotiating price and terms/conditions. Kelly pretty much handled all the back and forth with each little concern and even made us aware of potential concerns because we were first time home buyers. She was on top of everything, the paper work, dates, etc.

I had a realtor watching for a condo for me in a partcular complex, and had been looking for 3 years.
A unit that I wanted became available, and I contacted this realtor, and I asked to look into it. The result came back to me that they could not contact the other agent to see it. This went on for one week or more. When the other agent was finally contacted, they said they would not show the unit because they would not make any money on it (the price had dropped ). That was the end of it. Case closed.
As i had heard of Kelly McGovern, I met and explained to her what was going on. She took this problem on, and within 1-2 days, she managed to contact the realty company and have the agent give us a showing. She came with me, saw that it was in much better shape that we thought, and she explained what a good investment it was. (She was right.....it appraised for 50K more than I paid....without renovations that will be done)
This was an auction item. Ms McGovern guided me through the entire process, following the mountains of paperwork, and phone calls; more than a normal purchase; and was always on top of everything that went on. During this process, Ms. McGovern saw several mistakes that the mortgage people made, as well as the auction personnel, and had them corrected immediately.
