This home was an investment property in NJ while I reside in FL. When it came time to sell this home, I spoke with numerous brokers that I became of aware of both from direct mail (substantial flyers and business cards collected over several years) and internet search. Kathi provides a 'tag-team' service, working closely with another broker in her office, Sindy Craig. Together they connect buyers and sellers on the same transaction ('my home sale') while protecting each parties' interests fully. Both Kathi and Sindy went above and beyond numerous times, helping me with items I could not tackle from FL or that might have cost a lot with unknown providers. They even identified 'back-up' (contingency) buyers should the deal fall apart - which two of my offers actually did! They didn't miss a beat and we closed in about 2 months after listing the property. On top of their knowledge of the area, their intimate knowledge with this community, as well as a network of people to help on any given task, they are both nice people to work with, and still professional. I can not recommend this team more highly to anyone looking for a great '1-2 punch' to get your home sold.

I'm reading some of these other reviews, and I'm quite disappointed I did not have nearly the same experience with Kathi as others had on their home purchases. Kathi wasn't my personal realtor, but she was the listing agent for this property. I never even met her until closing. She did have a lot of knowledge of the area, going rates for homes, etc, but that's where my positives end. I thought she was incredibly unprofessional for most of the appointment. If she wasn't doing something on her phone, she was talking about an upcoming vacation her and her husband were about to take, or some other topic not related to this purchase. It didn't bother me then so much, but afterward, I was not happy for several reasons. Where I moved has an HOA with strict rules. A good realtor would have disclosed these rules long before closing because I guarantee some people wouldn't even waste their time or Kathi's if they knew in advance things like you can only have one pet, no AC window units, etc. That said, the rules were at least included in the paperwork of this sale, but what wasn't part of the rules, and what Kathi didn't mention (which baffles me considering she said she lived there herself) is that you need a permit on your vehicle upon moving into the community. Within a week of moving in, one of our vehicles was towed as a result. I've since talked with other neighbors who said their realtor had the permits ready and waiting for them at closing so this issue could be avoided entirely. Kathi cant do the same? The icing on the cake of my experience was when everything was finalized and it was time to part ways, she didn't even have the key to my new home for me. She said, "It's in the lock box. You can take it out when you get there, and my husband will pick up the box tomorrow." What realtor doesn't bring the key to a closing? I was dumbfounded. Her company bio online says, "Kathi has an unsurpassed work ethic, personal moral integrity and magnetic personality, making her an agent who is often requested." I'm happy some people received that and had a pleasant home purchasing/selling experience with her. I cannot say the same. I know my purchase was modest in terms of commission, especially because I had my own realtor, but putting in the same effort across all sales, big and small, means something. As far as I'm concerned, Kathi takes no pride in her work and the finer details that make all the difference for people like me.

Her hard work and knowledge made the process stress free. Great advertising, professional pictures, great communication and quick to answer all questions along the way.
