We set the price of our condo according to recent sales. However, we did not receive any offers for close to four months. We did finally get an offer, although, it was 9% below our asking price. We countered the offer and came to an agreement with the buyers but the agreed upon price was still 7% below our asking price. There are several reasons why we accepted this offer and there is no need to go into detail.
We truly believe that Cindy had our best interests throughout this transaction. The reduction in proceeds received were a result of circumstances beyond her control.
