I met with two other realtors before I chose to work with Janice. Janice hadn't done many sales in my area, but I was impressed by her past impressive sales record as well as her ability to quickly glean where and how to advertise in the area. Her work assessing the value of my home despite limited comps was impressive. She was able to quickly assess what needed to be done, and provided detailed notes (4 pages!) on how to stage my home for the best presentation possible. She has a designer's eye to be sure, and was correct on all accounts.
In showing the home, she encountered an obstreperous neighbor, and handled her politely and appropriately. I knew that my house and belongings were safe when she was showing my home. She is warm and friendly as well as eminently professional, and I knew she made a good impression on all of the potential buyers.
My house was on the market for 6 weeks, and as she had said, would appeal to a specific type of individual or family. She was reassuring after open houses and showings, explaining whether she thought people were serious or not, and why. I appreciated her insights during this time.
I appreciated both Janice's counsel and the level of independence I was afforded by her. Janice was always communicative and supportive. She was her charming self to the end of the closing.
