My husband and I went through about 3/4 realtors before ending with Frankie and Michelle. I did plenty of research on whom to trust to purchase our first home. By the time we ended with the Nunez, we were weary and nervous based on previous dissatisfaction. From the beginning, when I reached out to them at 9pm on a week day, they gave us their time. I was able to speak to them that night and they gave me about 1.5 hour of their time. Next, meeting up and explaining EVERYTHING in which they gave us 2 hours. Until the end, they were there for us. Even when we had questions with a lender that had nothing to do with them- they were there to answer all questions and guide us to get the best rate(in which we did thanks to their direction). This whole process was so easy and enjoyable and we ultimately owe it to God and then them. There was hardly a time we felt overwhelmed or "lost". The few times we did because of this process, they both took that away from us. Please do yourself a favor and go with them with your needs. They will not let you down. I'm so grateful I happened upon Frankie and Michelle!! Frankie was the "calm in the storm" of house buying- we were a bit anxious, lol, and he helped us get through every step. Frankie helped us find a lawyer, inspector, assessor, lenders, and helped us look at condos, townhomes, and houses in our price range. He answered all of our questions, and was instantly there if we needed him. With his help, we were able to negotiate $8,000 off the price of the house, and get a $2,000 credit for repairs needed on the house. Very bad choice on realtor, a seller from Lake Villa, IL
We placed our house on sale and bought one in Florida. We thought the realtor for the seller of the new house we bought was not good, until we worked with Michelle Nunez and realized there was somebody worse. We had to push to get the pictures and staging she had promised. She also pushed us to accept the first offer we got, which in a market like this, tailored to the sellers, was not good, but with her, everything seemed to be the least effort as possible. Honestly, we chose her because she lives in the same subdivision, so we thought with us being gone frequently, she would keep an eye on the house. Nope. It felt like she was working for the buyer, not us the sellers, and it was probably because we were leaving Illinois so she was eyeing the buyer for future references. I should have noticed that with all the houses for sale in the neighborhood lately, mostly everyone chose somebody else, not her. Maybe they knew something I didnt. When she finally agreed to get the pictures, she shoved shampoo from shower and little things around the house in cabinet and closets, including a plant that she placed in a dark closet, and died because neighbor did not find it to water. She promised to put back whatever she moved for her pictures, little things that are normal when people did not vacate the house. She never did. She also broke the new patio umbrella. When i told her about the stuff miss placed, I did not get an apology so I asked her not to enter my house without permission ever again. I never had to do that with a realtor. Arrogant and not responsive are not qualities we appreciate in a realtor. Once we signed with her, everything was dragging of her feet. Thank God that in this market, houses sell, especially beautiful houses. Otherwise she would have been forced to make an effort. Too many good realtors out there to choose. 2021

This review has been a long time coming. My wife and I were first time homebuyers with little knowledge about how to purchase our first home. After speaking with Frankie and Michelle Nunez, we instantly knew we were in the best hands possible to help us find our first home. Both were upfront and honest with us about what we could afford, where we would want to buy and took into account our interests and what we wanted in a home. We closed on our home in May 2019 using The Nunez Homes Team and we couldnt have been happier that we chose them to help us along the way. About 2 months into our new home, our air conditioner went out during the hottest days in July. Thankfully we had a 1-year home warranty with our closing and I promptly called the home warranty service. They advised us that there was a glitch with the warranty and to contact the sellers directly to figure it out. Without hesitation and early in the morning, I called Frankie and advised him of the situation. He said, Give me 10 min and I will have it fixed for you. Sure enough 10 minutes later, I had an email from our home warranty stating our account had been fixed and to set up a time to get our air conditioner fixed.
