Doug was unprofessional throughout our buying experience. There was no confidentiality at all. On occasions, he talked to our family members about houses we were looking at and prices of houses (without us realizing it). We hadn't told anybody that we were house looking. They actually learned thru him. Communication was severely lacking. We were told that there were difficulties in getting answers to our questions but a lot of times we were completely ignored. Once Judy got involved, that improved.
There was also an agreement(with Doug) of us wanting the seller to pay the closing cost but somehow it got turned around to where we were paying it. We pulled our copy of the contract and realized that the section had been left blank by Doug. We approached him on this and he denied it(even though we showed him the blank contract). He did NOTHING to try and make this right and actually told us that he didn't appreciate us accusing him of it. Overall, I am really disappointed in Doug and would not use him again or recommend him

Doug Payne and Judy Ross performed above and beyond our expectations. We were especially impressed with the overall marketing campaign and advice in staging the house. Their knowledge of the market and of the real estate business were valuable as they help us navigate issues, kept us informed, even kept me grounded when negotiations got frustrating.
