When we first contacted Cindy, we had less than a month before we moved to North Dakota; without any hesitation, she opened her schedule for us and drove us around Minot for four days while we searched for our perfect home. We thought that we were structured planners, but when we arrived, Cindy had a comprehensive plan that divided the area into quadrants (that thought never crossed our mind). As a Minot native, Cindy was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was descriptive on what types of features are needed, common, uncommon and helpful for North Dakota living. We wanted a home that we would love, but that would also maintain its value and could potentially generate revenue through sales or as a rental when we have to move again. We were able to find that home because Cindy knows and understands the market and explained the house buying process in a way that we understood without being intimidating. She was honest about some of the homes in the area that was overpriced and was committed to finding us a home that was the best value. During each show, she truly listened to our comments and concerns then adapted her list of houses to show us. Honestly, we were expecting the process to be stressful and to have to settle on a home due to our strict timeline, but we ended up with our dream home. While we went back to Maryland to pack and prepare to move, Cindy handled the inspection, communicated with USAA for our VA loan and addressed any issues within 30 minutes of being contacted. Her prompt responses and commitment to helping us move early alleviated the stress of moving across the country. We never felt overwhelmed or frustrated with the process because Cindy was always a phone call away. Through her networking skills, Cindy was able to put us in contact with some of the best contractors and inspectors in the area which has proved invaluable to the care of our home. If I had to sum up our experience with Cindy, we honestly felt like she made us a priority and made our home buying experience/move to North Dakota enjoyable. With Cindys commitment to finding us a home, we closed in less than three weeks (Could have been sooner if we could have left earlier). Cindy made our home buying experience enjoyable, and we are genuinely grateful for her knowledge, commitment, friendship and hard work.
