Adamsville is a small town located in the Greater Birmingham metropolitan area of Alabama. It has a population of approximately 4,400 people and covers an area of around 19 square kilometers. The town was founded in 1901 and named after William Adams, a railroad official. Adamsville has a rich history and is home to several historic landmarks, including the Old Union Coal Mine and the Adamsville Baptist Church, which was built in 1915.
