Tara has been a Hot Springs, Arkansas resident for over 20+ years. She relocated from the Mississippi Delta to attend Henderson State University in 1999, there she obtained degrees in Psychology & Sociology. Immediately, Tara fell in love with Hot Springs and the surrounding communities. Employed with a local retailer for nearly 15 years, Tara helped to grow a local family owned, business into a national brand with over 150 stores.

Tara met her husband, a Hot Springs native, in college and nearly 20 years later, finds herself as a busy wife and mother of two. Tara spends a lot of her time as a community volunteer. She is an active Girl Scout Leader in Garland County and was a foster parent for several years. She is still active in many outreach support programs for children and in Garland County.

Tara is the epitome of integrity and civic pride. She loves her community and works hard to make it better every day. Those values show in her work as well.
