The town of Lisbon, Connecticut was incorporated in 1786 and has a population of approximately 4,200 people. The town is primarily residential, with a few small businesses and farms. Although it is a relatively small town, Lisbon is actually the home of the largest tree farm in New England, the Hull Forest Products tree farm. Additionally, the town is known for its annual "Harvest Festival" which takes place every September and celebrates the town's agricultural heritage.
