HI! I am Tiffany Korte. I have lived in Southern Illinois for over 25 years. I became a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker in 2019. Prior to earning my license, I was the administrative assistant at Farmer & Company Real Estate for ten years and today I am also the marketing manager, in addition to being a licensed broker.
I am originally from Central Illinois, where I grew up on a corn and beef cattle farm. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness from Illinois State University. I relocated to Southern Illinois when I was hired as the manager of the Massac County Farm Bureau. This led me to meet my husband, Daniel. Along with Daniel's family, we farm almost 3000 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa in Massac County.
My family and I are very service minded. I am involved in various organizations in my community. I am a member of Psi Eta sorority. Psi Eta focuses their efforts on providing Christmas to children in Massac County that might not get one otherwise. I assist Psi Eta in hosting the annual Cancer Survivor Breakfast for Southern Illinois cancer survivors. I am also a member of the Psi Eta scholarship committee. I am a past member of the Massac County Relay for Life committee. I am a former Wish Grantor with the Illinois Make A Wish Chapter who provides wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. I have been a parent volunteer with Massac County 4-H. Along with her husband and children, Logan & Larkin, Tiffany attends Community Christian Church in Metropolis.
I am a past board member of the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce and was the 2nd Vice President in 2017. I currently serve on the Membership Committee and am a past member of the Special Events Committee and help organize the annual golf scramble as well as the 2017 Solar Eclipse Celebration in Metropolis. I am one of four representatives from Farmer & Company Real Estate who is a corporate member of the Metropolis Rotary Chapter. I have helped other Rotary members and staff of the University of Illinois Extension with cooking schools held at various elementary schools throughout Massac County.
While I am a fairly new real estate broker, I worked behind the scenes for years assisting other brokers in the agency listing and selling homes and properties. Farmer & Company Real Estate dominates the real estate market in Massac County and the other southern seven counties in Illinois. I especially enjoy my responsibility of managing social media marketing for Farmer & Company Real Estate. My agriculture background provides me with firsthand knowledge of land prices, whether farmland, hunting property or just vacant land, making me the ideal broker to turn to when selling or buying land. In the last year since I have helped several buyers purchase the home of their dreams, the majority of which have been first-time homebuyers. Buying a home can be intimidating and daunting, but I personally walk buyers through the process, one step at a time.
I spend most of my free time cheering on my children at their respective baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball games. My family and I are supporters of the Massac County Patriots & Lady Patriots athletic programs, as well as the Nashville Knights baseball organization and the Illinois Force softball organization. I manage the Massac County High School baseball & softball concession stand. If my family and I can fit in a game around our already busy schedules, we try to make it to a couple St. Louis Cardinals games during the season.
