Walnut Cove, North Carolina is a small rural village located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. It was originally named Town Fork and was renamed in 1889 after the walnut trees that grew along the nearby Cove Creek. Walnut Cove has a population of approximately 1,400 people and is known for its strong sense of community and small-town charm.
