In 2001, Drew graduated from college, enjoyed a nice long three-day weekend, and then got to work. He hasn't stopped since. Now, more than 20 years later, he's become one of Oregon's most decorated real estate brokers, having steadily grown his business year-over-year, even through the crash of 2008. He launched his own brokerage, Opt Real Estate, in January of 2022, and was named the 2022 REALTOR of the Year by Oregon REALTORS.
In addition to his focus on high sales volume and company growth, Drew is also actively involved as a leader in his local industry. He served as the 2021 President of Oregon REALTORS to provide enriching experiences for his fellow realtors. He's also actively engaged with his community, working with nonprofits that support foster care and those who are homeless in Portland by leveraging the unique media abilities of his team to help tell their stories in compelling ways.
A well-traveled soul, Drew even spent some time living in Vienna as a youngster. But he is quick to tell you that out of all the places he's been, there's no place in the world like Portland. It's why he chose to make it his lifelong home and place of business, long before the market became what it is today. He calls it the perfect backdrop for his lovely wife and three energetic children.
Drew's team now encompasses more than 40 members, serving both buyers and sellers across the Portland metropolitan area, Southwest Washington, and now the Oregon Coast. When asked what's influenced the success of his business, Drew points towards genuine empathy and a spirit of collaboration with his clients, an exhaustive work ethic, and an embracing of the digital market space.
