Katie Sylstra was born and raised in Poquoson, Virginia with her brother, Will, and two parents who both worked as REALTORS. A 2003 graduate of Virginia Tech completing a major in Business Management, Katie began her career in Northern Virginia managing condominium associations and apartment communities.
Upon returning to the Hampton Roads area, Katie continued to work managing condominium associations in the Hampton Roads area before accepting the opportunity of representing clients with their residential real estate needs.
Since 2011, Katie has served as President of her Homeowner's Association, Cape Henry Villas, Virginia Beach. In her role as President, she has performed her duties responsibly and done a stellar job of representing the condominium community. Due to her astute budgetary planning and recommendations to the board members, she has avoided an overpriced assessment on several occasions. She is an active member of CCC and lives in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach with her family. Katie enjoys the beach, zip-lining, and hiking.
