Caledonia is a small village in southeastern Minnesota with a population of approximately 2,900 people. It is known as the "Wild Turkey Capital" of Minnesota, as the area is home to a large population of wild turkeys. The town also hosts an annual Wild Turkey Festival in early April. Additionally, the town has a rich history in logging, as it was a major hub for the timber industry in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
