St. Francis is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was around 8,400 people. It is located about 35 miles north of Minneapolis and is considered a part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. St. Francis has a total area of 32.6 square miles, of which 31.6 square miles is land and 1.0 square miles is water.

The city is known for its rural setting and is home to many farms, horse stables, and parks. The area features several outdoor recreation opportunities, including the Rum River, which runs through the city and provides fishing and scenic views. Additional popular activities include hiking, camping, birdwatching, and snowmobiling.

St. Francis is served by the East Central School District, which includes St. Francis High School. The city features several parks and athletic fields, and the St. Francis Community Center provides activities and classes for residents of all ages.
