Coldspring is a small village located in Putnam County, New York, United States. It is situated on the east shore of the Hudson River, about 50 miles north of New York City. The village is known for its historic architecture, including many buildings from the mid-19th century that have been well-preserved. The Main Street area of the village has been designated a National Historic District. Coldspring also offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including hiking trails in nearby state parks, fishing in the Hudson River, and boating on Canopus Lake. The village hosts several community events throughout the year, including a farmers market and a popular Fourth of July parade.
