Jeffersonville is a city in Southern Indiana and is the county seat of Clark County. It is located along the Ohio River, across from Louisville, Kentucky. The city has a rich history, including being a major stop on the Underground Railroad and being home to the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant during World War II. Today, Jeffersonville is known for its charming downtown district, which features shops, restaurants, and a beautiful waterfront park.
