One fun and verifiable fact about the town of Johnson, Arkansas is that it is home to the Arkansas World War I Memorial Park, which is dedicated to the more than 71,000 Arkansans who served in World War I. The park features a ceremonial flag display and a unique sculpture of a World War I soldier that was created by Arkansas artist Hank Kaminsky.
